Mottainai Collection - Do not waste what is valuable. Mottainai is a Japanese word used to express a feeling of regret when something is wasted without realising it’s full potential.

Hayley Trezise - An Artist creating bespoke, wearable art pieces, embracing sustainability by bringing new life to fabric destined for landfill or repurposing old garments, took RED’s offcuts of leather and has created a brand new fabric using her signature ‘Scribble-stitch’ which Ruth has then turned into a new pair of shoes.

Each pair has a unique story and we believe the person who they are meant for will find them. These are one of a kind Limited Edition.

These Shoes are made from soft full grain Italian mixed metallic gold leathers, the uppers have rolled edges which are fully lined in soft bubblegum pink suede.

All our Boots are naturally foot shaped. They are designed to be snug around your arch and wide enough to allow your toes to spread into the toe box. Our Footwear is all built to last - designed to be repairable for many years to come.

Our Boots are made using a special leather innersole which is flexible so your feet can feel very natural - like wearing no shoes at all. We back them with a tyre tread with a very minimal 3mm heel. When your shoes need new soles, simply send them back and we give them a new lease of life.

• Double outsole stitched. Finished with matching stitching.

• 5mm soft leather inner soles tanned in the UK - flexible so your footprint embeds into the sole over time.

• Rubber Tyre tread outer soles - replaceable when they wear down.

• Handmade matching leather laces reinforced with waxed thread.
