This is our RED twist on the slip on boot - made with a fabric leg panel of your choice. This photo is from a pair we made from hand embroidered fabric woven in San Andreas, Mexico. We have had clients weave their own fabric or choose form a variety of tweeds and tartans. We have used silk kimonos and hand embroidered fabric collected from all over the world on our travels. Memory sewn into cloth and ancient motifs bring the past into the present. The fabric panel creates a relaxed slouch to the leg.

For the main upper of the boot we recommend using one of our soft, durable Italian leather or suedes, we fully double line the fabric so it stands up to a lifetime of wearing them.

We designed our RED slip on boot to fit loosely on the leg, while being fitted in the footbed so they support your feet but slouch a little on the leg. You can choose to have them two tone or a contrast of leather and suede.

All our shoes are bespoke made on our foot shaped lasts. Our shoes are broad at the toe box, sculpted at the arch and fitted at the heel so your toes can spread, while also gently supported at the back of the shoe. Read more about our shoes here.

Replaceable Tyre soles

We use a soft, full grain Italian leather so it just becomes like a second skin in no time at all. The uppers have rolled edges and the full suede lining means they are very soft and comfortable yet robust.

The 5mm soles flexible leather innersoles are tanned in England. They are finished with rubber tyre tread soles which are flexible and grippy to give extra durability, fully resole-able when they wear down.

Ordering bespoke means we will make your boots to fit you. You can select your size from the drop down menu below. Once we have your measurements we will send you a ‘fitting’ pair of shoes from stock so you can try on a sample and decide what changes you would like on your pair. We talk/email, you can send photos or a video and we can discuss the fitting before we begin from scratch. We will also send colour swatches from our range - when you click through to buy, we will ask for your desired leather and suede swatches.

If you are having your feet measured in person we charge £45 Studio Consultation Fitting on top of the bespoke price of our shoes.

If you are ordering our shoes remotely we may need to send out a fitting pair, or several fitting pairs of our shoes to make sure we get your bespoke pair absolutely perfect. This involves looking through our stock, spending time corresponding with you over any details, sending leather swatches etc so may incur extra postage costs and/or fitting charge which we will bill you for at the end of the process.

We will always keep you informed as to how much this may cost and give you a clear breakdown as some people have extreme complications with their feet and if you live internationally postage costs may vary.
